Effective Presentations - Getting Others to Understand and Accept Your Ideas

Looking for a low cost way to improve Presentation Skills? Here's a great way to do it!

Learn by following along as you watch an 80 minute videotape of Joel Hochberger, president of Effective Presentations conducting one of our "Mini-Programs" before a live audience.

You can purchase the videotape (or CD) for only $99 as Joel shows you how to organize and deliver an effective presentation!

Included with the videotape is the same worksheet that you'll see Joel handing out on the videotape. You'll then be able to "participate" in the program and develop your own presentation just as the "live" participants are doing in the program.

Joel will take you through a step-by-step process to do this. Again, you'll see him developing a real presentation while you're developing your own real presentation!

For example, you'll hear him say, "…Okay, that completes Step One. Let's go to Step 2. For Step 2, we'll need to write down a detailed description of our listeners. Watch me do mine and then you can do yours. My listener is a man. He's 46 years old. He's been with his company for 12 years. Before that he…(etc)……… Now, you do the same thing on your worksheet. Go to the worksheet where it says, 'Step 2 -Listener' and write down everything you know about your listener. Be as detailed as you can because, remember, we're going to end up presenting this from The Listener's Point of View, so take your time as you complete Step 2."

At the end of the program, you'll have a real presentation in your hand in which the content is perfectly organized!

You'll then see Joel discussing and demonstrating the skills required to deliver the presentation. (You'll already have seen and heard him describe that there are two parts of an effective presentation: Organization of the presentation and Delivery of the presentation.)

In the "Delivery" section, you'll learn about:

Controlling Nervousness
Positive Use of Energy
Eye Contact
Use of Hands
Appearance
Monotone
Intonation
Pausing
Speaking Pace
Enthusiasm
Visual Aids
Controlling Q & A sessions

…and much much more!

The videotape is approximately 80 minutes long. It's titled, "EFFECTIVE PRESENTATIONS - GETTING OTHERS TO UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT YOUR IDEAS!"

So - if "getting others to understand and accept your ideas" is important to you - and if you don't have the time or the budget for a live seminar, then this videotape is for you!

VHS Videotape, approximately 80 minutes. (Also available on CD.)

High Impact Presentations, Parts I, II, III

We have a tendency to judge peoples’ effectiveness on how well they give a presentation. As a rule, it’s difficult to impress people—but rather easy to un-impress them. So if the presenter loses credibility with his or her audience, the message can be virtually lost. That’s why it’s important to your employees to learn how to deliver content as well as they actually know it.

High Impact Presentations is a Masters Series video that will give your employees clear and simple tools for adding power and impact to their presentations. Bob Pike, an expert on delivering high impact and high energy presentations, leads your employees through this three-part video series. He explains to your employees that they are the magic in their presentations. If they prepare, practice and involve participants, they can get the results they’re looking for.
